IQHA Racing Division promotes two Bitterroot Races - BR Futurity and BR Derby.  There is also a BR Juvenile Race.  All horses that ran in the BR Futurity trials but did not qualify for the finals will be eligible to run in the BR Juvenile.  

 

 

The Bitterroot races are closely related to the BR Stallion Service Auction.  The horses eligible to run in the BR Futurity have to be a foal from the stallions sold in the auction.  The stallion list is on the form is created from the sale each year.  (example - Stallions sold in the BR Stallion Auction in 2005 will be listed on the 2008 BR Futurity form)

The BR Derby entries can only be horses that were nominated in the BR Futurity for the prior year. (example - Stallions listed on the 2007 BR Futurity Form will be listed on the 2008 BR Derby Form)
