KENNY MCREYNOLDS
Kenny McReynolds began his love of horses at
an early age in Nampa, Idaho. In 1952, Kenny raced his Harley Davidson against a horse in pole bending.
The horse won. He was asked at that time if he would like to ride race horses, and his career in
horse racing began. Kenny has ridden on many World Champion Quarter Horses including 2-yr old Champion
and Hall of Fame horse, Bunny's Bar Maid. Kenny was one of the nation's leading quarter horse riders,
riding in the All American Futurity 3 times. Kenny went from jockey to trainer in 1976. His
career has been highlighted by multiple Leading Trainer awards. His winners include Dickeys Blue Denim,
Skylarkin, Hes Precious, and record setting Peg's Lil Angel.
JOHN COOPER
John Cooper was born in Pocatello, Idaho. He got his first
horse, Topper, when he was in junior high. In the early 1960’s, John discovered Chariot Racing and
placed at the World Champion Chariot finals. During this time he began training, leaving his job to train
full-time in 1967. In 1970, John went o the California Fair Circuit where he won 10 races and purchased
a horse name Uncle Wes. John ran him at Los Alamitos and won 2 races, including John’s first stakes
win. It was the turning point in his career. John has trained 1,685 winner’s including
Separtist, Sign of Lanty, Chingaderos, Champion of Champions winner – Mister Doty Bars, and Aladuino, who became John’s
pony horse for 14 years.
DUAYNE DIDERICKSEN
His trademark is a white cowboy hat. As he stood on the threshold
of life, Duayne, or “Did” as he is known, began a journey that would lead him to his destiny in the horse world
– in Idaho and Nationwide. It would take him through hard times and good times. Duayne
was a pioneer in a racing industry that was young and was instrumental in molding that industry. He became
the one of the most knowledgeable and experienced horseman in the state. Duayne was good for racing and
racing was good for him. He came up a winner every time. He was awarded the prestigious
Gordon Crone Award. For his many valuable contributions, he is a giant in the racing industry.
